Kraft Heinz Kendallville is excited to help you start your career today!**Plant Overview:*** Non-union plant employing 280 employees across 3 shifts.* Purchased in 1934 from Breyer’s Ice Cream and began producing caramel in 1935.* Began producing Marshmallows and Marshmallow Crème in 1961 and Marbits (think dehydrated marshmallows found in cereal) in 1979.* Kendallville is the sole producer of all our product lines.**Community Overview:*** Kendallville is located about 30 minutes north of Fort Wayne and offers a small-town community.**Responsibilities & Duties:*** Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment as needed associated with the building, production, and utilities.* Coordinate with production to address any corrective maintenance required on assigned equipment to ensure optimum line efficiency and product quality.* Perform preventative maintenance inspections on all production, building, and utilities equipment as assigned.* Participate in the development of documented preventive maintenance plan.* Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment and system design.* Analyze equipment failures and recommend/implement corrective actions.* Communicate with maintenance personnel on other shifts, as necessary, to ensure coordination of maintenance efforts on assigned equipment.* Work cross functionally as a member of the operations team.* Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.**Qualifications:*** Maintenance training/degree and experience in manufacturing maintenance.* Self-motivated and strong drive for results.* Use simple mathematics.* Lift 50 pounds.* Able to climb a ladder.* Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles.* Able to work in hot and humid conditions.* Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc. preferred.**About Us**Kraft Heinz is a global food company with a delicious heritage.
