Employee Benefits Specialist

What You’ll Do As an Account Manager, you\'ll oversee a portfolio of fully insured employee benefits clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary service contact throughout the policy lifecycle. You\'ll collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver proactive support, ensure seamless renewals, and strengthen long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage a book of fully insured employee benefits accounts while delivering responsive, proactive client service. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, producers, and carrier partners, providing timely guidance on benefit plans, policy administration, renewals, and service requests. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery. Coordinate the renewal and marketing process for new and existing business, working closely with carrier partners and internal teams. Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, renewals, and related account information. Prepare materials and coordinate recurring client meetings, stewardship reviews, and strategic planning sessions. Partner with internal departments—including Claims, Legal, Safety, Marketing, Technology, and Operations—to resolve issues and support client needs. Stay informed on industry trends, carrier updates, compliance requirements, and emerging employee benefits solutions. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the overall client experience. Travel periodically to client meetings, carrier appointments, and regional office locations. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
