Production SupervisorDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Supervisor for a leading foundry manufacturing company in Cold Spring, MN. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Production Supervisor:Lead and direct employees in molding, pouring, and related foundry operationsIdentify, address, and eliminate workplace safety concerns while promoting a safe work environmentMonitor production performance, quality metrics, and productivity goals to ensure operational successConduct performance evaluations, coach employees, and support ongoing training and developmentLead continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, TPM, quality, cost, and delivery programsManage inventory, receive material shipments, and coordinate parts and supply orderingSupport daily production meetings, department audits, and major maintenance activities within the departmentWhat You Need to Bring to the Production Supervisor Role:High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent foundry education and experience3-5 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a foundry environmentStrong understanding of foundry operations, safety regulations, and production processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with proven leadership abilitiesKnowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement practicesStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze production, quality, and cost metricsAbility to lift up to 60 pounds and work approximately 70% of the time in a production environmentForklift operation experience and ability to use electric and pneumatic hand tools preferredBenefits Offered by the Company:Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceMedical FSA/HSA and Dependent Care FSABasic Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage401(k) with Company MatchProfit Sharing (ROA)Paid Time Off and Paid HolidaysJury Duty and Funeral Leave Benefits
