Neurosurgeon

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurosurgeon to join an established, premier regional practice. This full-time, in-person role offers immediate patient volume within a flourishing neurosurgery practice. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive neurosurgical care, collaborating with a robust medical staff and multidisciplinary team at a nonprofit regional referral center.

• Collaborate with a medical staff of over 325 physicians and a multidisciplinary care team

• Deeply rooted referral stream spanning across Central Louisiana
• Premier 300-bed facility employing roughly 1,600 dedicated Associates

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
• Perform both elective and complex emergent neurosurgical procedures
• Participate in a shared, manageable call rotation schedule
• Collaborate closely with trauma, orthopedic, and intensive care specialists
• Contribute to clinical quality initiatives and the strategic growth of the neuroscience service line

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Unrestricted Louisiana Medical License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
