Join our team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) / Student Nurse and develop clinical skills while working alongside experienced Registered Nurses and healthcare professionals . Reporting to the Nursing Manager , the PCT/Student Nurse assists licensed nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. Care is delivered in accordance with the philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Services Department , as well as hospital policies and regulatory guidelines . This role is an excellent opportunity for nursing students seeking real-world experience in a hospital or acute care environment . Key Responsibilities As a Hospital Patient Care Technician / Student Nurse , you will support the nursing team with essential direct patient care responsibilities , including: Assisting patients with basic care needs and activities of daily living (ADLs) Taking and documenting vital signs accurately Supporting nurses with routine patient care tasks Observing patients and communicating changes to licensed nursing staff Maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systems Your work helps ensure patients receive attentive, safe, and supportive care during their hospital stay.
