Contract Logistics 1st Shift Quality Specialist - Southaven, MS

Overview It's more than a job. As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. You’ll lead teams, engineer processes, or drive projects to ensure customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. The Contract Logistics Quality Specialist will assist the Quality Manager with ongoing GXP regulatory compliance responsibilities, including conducting training sessions, performing process audits, managing document control, and supporting TIP activities. You will contribute to compliance matters, support client process audits for inbound and outbound shipments, and assist with internal training and compliance initiatives. This includes onboarding programs and recurring training sessions for all associates to ensure continuous adherence to quality standards. You will be scheduled to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with an hourly rate of $20.00. Payments are processed weekly. Responsibilities Handle compliance-related inquiries from internal employees and management, guiding them to the appropriate resources Coordinate with DCM and LQM to obtain required documents and information to complete tasks Facilitate Training and New Employee Orientation in collaboration with the Operations Manager and/or Quality Manager Maintain exemplary documentation practices throughout the facility Manage GXP training records to keep training matrices current and accurate Develop a comprehensive training plan for current associates to ensure ongoing skill development Facilitate retraining initiatives to ensure CAPA completion Monitor training progress to ensure deadlines are met Provide support for meetings, presentations, and training sessions as required Engage in program projects and contribute to training initiative development and implementation Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance and quality standards Facilitate client-specific order audits to ensure order accuracy Ensure consistent documentation standards Support the CAPA program (TIP) with effective root cause analysis Support maintenance of calibration records, temperature control reports, and equipment for KN and customer assets Deliver high-quality guidance and support to local employees Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent External candidates: at least two years of experience in a regulatory environment; experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or logistics is a plus Internal candidates: familiarity with KN’s QSHE policies, guidelines, and work instructions; knowledge of ACON user; prior experience in a GXP-regulated environment is desirable What’s in it for you There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
