IRON COUNTY IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ONE (1) IT TECHNICIAN FOR THE COUNTY ITS DEPARTMENT IN CEDAR CITY, UT . QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD AND AT LEAST TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PERFORMING RELATED DUTIES OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO MAINTAINING HELP-DESK TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, RESOLVING TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, ASSEMBLING NEW COMPUTERS, INSTALLING AND REPLACING NEW COMPONENTS, UPDATING OPERATING SYSTEMS, AND ASSIST IT DIRECTOR AND IT MANAGER ON VARIOUS PROJECTS. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. REFERENCE THE POSITION DESCRIPTION FOR MORE DETAILS. INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN NCIC CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
