What You’ll Do As a Roosters Prep Cook, you’ll be the first step in creating the delicious meals our guests love: Timely preparation of all raw foods and fresh products for the line cooks Wash, clean, peel, dice, shred, and slice produce and food products using the provided equipment Follow recipes and preparation procedures for all menu items Review prepped items for quality, freshness, and proper rotation Portion meats, cheeses, dressings, and other ingredients with accuracy Demonstrate superior knife skills to chop, slice, and prep ingredients safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized prep area while supporting the kitchen team You’ll be the unsung hero behind every great meal we serve!
