Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn, located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra. AUSD educates approximately 1,500 students in preschool through eighth grade at three TK-8 schools (Auburn Elementary, Skyridge Elementary and E.V. Cain School) At our schools, we stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision. All students will be challenged, engaged, and obtain college and career readiness skills for a globally connected society. Job Summary Under the direction of the Director-Maintenance and Operations, perform a variety of skilled activities in the maintenance and repair of assigned facilities, utilities and equipment including tasks in carpentry, electrical work, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), construction, plumbing and painting; participate in a variety of grounds maintenance and gardening duties in the beautification of assigned grounds and landscaped area.
