Office Assistant

Symbii Home Health & Hospice Idaho Falls is seeking an Office Assistant to join our growing Home Health & Hospice team! We are passionate about providing quality home health and hospice to folks who need it, and we are looking for an Office Assistant who shares our drive, vision, and commitment.

As a vital member of our team, our office assistant is responsible for ensuring that our agency is organized and running efficiently. You will represent our agency both in person and over the phone as you interact with patients, families and providers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and channel them appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Receive guests and provide assistance where needed.
• Monitor faxes and ensure appropriate action is taken.
• Maintain adequate office supply inventory at all times.
• Track physician orders and ensure signatures are received in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

We are looking for someone creative, enthusiastic, fun, and culture-oriented. The ideal candidate is organized, intelligent, and willing to learn new things. Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute and have strong computer, word processing, and office machine experience. Previous healthcare experience and medical terminology is a plus.
