Overview Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe, clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents. Extend arms over head, bend, and stoop as required. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for the use of cleaning agents. Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs. Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly. Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash. Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms. Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms, restock heavy cart, and inspect room for cleanliness and appearance to signify completion. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head, and work in confined spaces. Willingness to “pitch‑in” and help coworkers with their duties, demonstrating teamwork. Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment. Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public. Compensation Discretionary Performance Bonus Eligible?
