Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager - UPLIZNA- Rare Disease- Miami, FL

Amgen seeks a Specialty Account Manager to represent UPLIZNA in the rare disease space, managing territory sales and account relationships with healthcare providers in Miami, Florida. The role involves developing business plans, driving product demand, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent UPLIZNA to physicians and healthcare professionals while establishing product sales
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to achieve annual sales goals
• Drive product demand through disease state education and coordination with field teams
• Address access, reimbursement, and pull-through issues by engaging key stakeholders
• Communicate territory activity and provide feedback to leadership on market changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years account management, sales, and commercial experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years; or Doctorate with 2+ years
• Pharma account management selling experience with ability to coordinate across field teams
• Buy-and-bill experience with biologic/infusion background strongly preferred
• Sales experience in specialty disease states such as rheumatology or rare diseases preferred
• Site of care and reimbursement expertise strongly preferred
• Approximately 80% travel capacity including overnight and weekend availability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong communication and interpersonal skills
