As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential administrative support in a healthcare setting. Utilizing core skills such as medical office experience, computer proficiency, and patient service, you will handle front desk duties, manage medical records, and ensure smooth office operations. Your premium skills in medical terminology, EMR systems, and HIPAA compliance will be valuable in maintaining accurate records and protecting patient confidentiality. With relevant skills in customer service, Microsoft Office, and multi-line phone systems, you will contribute to a welcoming and efficient patient experience. Looking for an energetic, friendly, detail oriented professional with good interpersonal skills to join our office as a Part Time - Front Desk Receptionist / Medical assistant for Medical Practice.

Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills.
• Pre-certification and Navinet experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be courteous and friendly with good communication skills.
• Must have a good attitude about learning new things.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting copays, data entry, and other medical front desk responsibilities.
• Escorting patients to the examination room, recording the chief complaint, taking vitals, history and other related information.
• Talk with patients on the phone to schedule appointments and inquire about outstanding balances.
• Record information in EHR for each patient.
• Schedule appointments, submit super-bills to the billing company and follow up about billing errors.
• Other office related duties as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 14-16 per week
