Job Summary: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an IT Technician with strong Help Desk experience (34+ years) to support our client, Quanta Manufacturing, at their Fremont headquarters. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical issues for end users. You will serve as the frontline IT support resource, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across systems, devices, and applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 Help Desk support in a corporate environment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
- Manage and resolve tickets using a Service Desk ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
- Support Microsoft 365, Teams, and SaaS applications
- Perform user account management (Active Directory, password resets, access requests)
- Assist with device imaging, deployment, onboarding/offboarding
- Troubleshoot printers, VoIP systems, AV/conference room technology, and peripherals
- Provide remote and onsite support using tools like RDP, TeamViewer, etc.
- Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure and engineering teams
Requirements:
- 34+ years of strong Help Desk / Service Desk experience in a corporate environment
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS systems (Linux is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
- Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, printers, and networking issues
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic networking concepts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively
