IT Support Specialist –Temp-to-Hire Location: Hayward, CA Pay: $28–$30/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8: 00 AM–5: 00 PM Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for employees within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on position supporting computer hardware, software, user accounts, network connectivity, and general IT troubleshooting. Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues Set up computers, user accounts, email, and access for new employees Install, configure, and maintain software and computer equipment Assist with password resets, permissions, and general user support Support printers, scanners, phones, and other peripheral devices Troubleshoot basic network and Wi‑Fi issues Maintain IT equipment and documentation Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary Provide friendly, responsive support to employees across the organization Qualifications Previous experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or a similar role Strong Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills Experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and common office technology Basic understanding of networking, user accounts, and system permissions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working independently and supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge Position Details This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $28–$30/hour, based on experience.
