Labware Technician

Job Title Labware Technician FLSA Status Non-exempt Starting at $17/hour based on experience plus twice a year bonuses Job Summary The Labware Technician is a motivated, self-starter that is able to work independently as well as part of a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean, prepare and sterilize supplies and glassware for Lab Technicians Stock dishware for use in the lab Refill stock supplies when necessary Maintain cleanliness in the lab Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be capable of wearing all protective gear (gown, hair bonnet, mask, beard cover, gloves, goggles) Must exhibit punctuality and low absenteeism Able to sit and/or stand 8-10 hours or more per day as needed Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion PTCB Certification a plus, but not required Laboratory experience a plus Eligibility Qualifications Required upon hire (or within 90 days): Detail Oriented Organizational Skills Teamwork Thoroughness Time Management Physical Demands May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion This position is moderately active and requires standing and walking for a majority of the shift Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Because of the nature of the business, work schedules may vary at times. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
