Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose a range of mental health disorders.
• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, routinely monitoring their effectiveness and making adjustments as warranted.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure all aspects of treatment are addressed.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including medication response, therapy outcomes, and symptom changes.
• Conduct regular follow-up appointments to assess treatment effectiveness, address any concerns, and revise treatment approaches as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to enhance clinical skills and improve patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Compensation and Benefits
