Veterinary Technician – Worthington Woods Animal Care Center

Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our hardworking team. This full‑time position offers opportunities for career growth and progression into future leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Review treatment plans, give discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with the team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active, good‑standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio.
• A kind, compassionate individual who enjoys working with pets and people.
• Strong communicator who fosters lasting relationships with clients, pets, and team members.
• Dedicated professional who takes pride in their work and provides a memorable client experience.

Full‑time Benefits and Compensation

• Compensation: $25‑30 per hour, for each hour worked.
• Bonus package: $2,000.

This is a full‑time position with a flexible schedule; availability is required Monday‑Friday with rotating Saturdays and one Sunday per month.
