ServiceNow Software Engineer

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, a mid-level ServiceNow Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software programs for enhanced ServiceNow systems, supporting DoD customers throughout the software development life cycle. Key responsibilities Perform full-lifecycle software engineering functions on the ServiceNow platform, including design, development, testing, and debugging of software enhancements Develop technical solutions in collaboration with internal experts, ensuring a deep understanding of the platform's impact on end products Configure and maintain core IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules while ensuring CMDB health and accuracy Required qualifications Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one prior to employment Hands-on experience developing within the ServiceNow platform, including knowledge of UI Actions, Business Rules, and Flow Designer Experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including story writing and sprint planning
