Turret Operator Precision Material Handling Specialist
Step into a vital role at the heart of warehouse operations as a Turret Operator. This position is key to ensuring smooth inbound and outbound material flow by expertly unloading, stacking, and organizing merchandise with precision and care. As a Turret Operator, you will be responsible for safely handling incoming products, accurately moving stock to designated pallets or crates, and maintaining impeccable inventory standards by identifying any damages or shortages. Required Skills:
- Skilled in operating turret forklifts with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency
- Ability to unload goods carefully and stack materials in assigned locations
- Proficient in identifying product damages, shortages, or quality issues and reporting them promptly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Capable of performing general warehouse duties as assigned
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in warehouse inventory management systems
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance skills on forklift equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience operating turret forklifts or similar equipment in a warehouse setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work standing and lifting for extended periods
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts if required
- Relevant forklift operator certification is a plus
