Job Title: Tax Manager / Senior Tax ManagerLocation: Providence, RI (Hybrid / Remote Options)Salary: $120k-$160k+ (Senior Tax Manager: $135k-$175k)Requirements: Must have an active CPA & minimum 6+ years of Public Accounting & Tax Exp.Top Reasons to Work with UsAward-Winning Firm: Named a "Best Firm" by Accounting Today and Providence Business News.Unmatched Environment: Focused on Culture, Collaboration, and Flexibility we can offer our employees.Work/Life Harmony: Offering flexible hybrid scheduling and remote options.Career Growth: Clear Path for Partner Track with direct mentorship.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Review ManagementLead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.Manage returns for S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and individuals.Research complex tax issues and interpret evolving tax laws to find optimal client solutions.Oversee tax planning initiatives for closely held businesses and their owners.Client Advisory & RelationshipsServe as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients.Maintain and build strong relationships with both existing and new clients.Partner with clients across core industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and non-profits.Team Leadership & Firm GrowthTrain, develop, supervise, and mentor Tax Staff, Seniors, and Supervisors.Manage multiple engagements and workflows across various industries simultaneously.Participate in firm-wide initiatives, including internal process improvements and training programs.Demonstrate a clear desire to take on leadership responsibilities and track toward Partner.What You Need for this PositionRequired:Active CPA License.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.Minimum 6+ years of Public Accounting & Tax Exp.Currently a Tax Manager or highly experienced Supervisor.Exp.
