The Laundry Aide would be responsible for sorting soiled clothing and linens, washing, drying, folding and delivering items to resident rooms and nursing stations. Experience desired but will train the right candidate! May assist in housekeeping on occasion as needed.
8 HOURS PER WEEK (Every other Weekend)
$17.50/hour = $0.75 weekend differential
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
Hours are 5:30 am to 1:30 pm
Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize washing machines and dryers daily
- Sort soiled laundry and Linens
- Sort and fold clean laundry
- Delivery of personal clothing to facility residents
- Mending & ironing as needed
- Label Clothing
- Stocking of carts for nursing areas
Other Requirements:
- May assist in housekeeping based on facility needs on occasion
- Must be able to do heavy lifting repeatedly without restrictions
- Must be able to read, write and speak English|
- Able to deal tactfully with coworkers, residents, family members, visitors and general public
- Must be reliable Our facility is open 365 days a year including holidays and weekends
