Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical ICU

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12, Nights, 18:45 - 07:15

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical ICU is responsible for delivering optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The RN will coordinate care and provide comprehensive nursing services, utilizing advanced nursing practices and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific standards and competency requirements.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the care process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience is required.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
