Call Center Representative

• San Diego, CA (100% Onsite)

• Contract-to-Hire | 6-Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Call Center Representatives to join a growing healthcare organization in San Diego. This position plays a critical role in supporting patients by handling a high volume of inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Answer 60-80 inbound calls per day from patients, insurance providers, vendors, and healthcare facilities
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm patient appointments
• Route calls appropriately to various departments
• Accurately document patient information and messages in the EMR system
• Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a busy call center environment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of call center or customer service experience
• Strong tenure and stable work history
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional phone presence and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish-English
• Healthcare or patient services experience
• Experience working with appointment scheduling systems or EMRs

Schedule

• Training schedule will align with trainer availability (typically 8:00/8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Regular schedule after training: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 100% onsite in San Diego

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
