Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in Bangor, Maine. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center, serving two-thirds of the state with air transport. The role involves working with three Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators and a Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro Computed Tomography Simulator. The schedule is dayshift, and candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Therapeutic (T); must hold Maine State license for Radiation Therapy
• Qualifications: 0 years of experience required, with a preference for 1-year experience in radiation therapy, and experience with Mosaiq and/or Varian equipment preferred
• Schedule: Dayshift, 40 hours per week, with no weekends, no call, and rotations in holidays with other technicians; 4-week scheduling possible with manager approval
• Additional Information: Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level; shift specifics to be sent with requisition for interview; routine patient care involving approximately 90 patients daily across three linacs; scrubs black or solid color, as long as they are professional or provided by the facility; free parking
