Software Development Intern

As a Research and Development Intern at Schneider Electric, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on real-world projects that drive innovation and sustainability. You'll gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and connect with leaders and peers across North America. This is more than an internship—it's a launchpad for your career.

A typical week as a Software Development Intern might include:

• Collaborating with your team on AI-assisted code conversion to support our future systems and AI-assisted document-video conversion
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and presenting your ideas
• Supporting R&D with data analysis, research, or process improvements
• Attending intern-exclusive workshops, networking events, and leadership panels
• Receiving mentorship from experienced professionals and your assigned manager

The Graduate Software Development Intern will report to a Director, Technical Product Management and collaborate closely with Research and Development. You'll also connect with interns across North America through our intern community and events.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science/AI or other applicable programs of study
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for sustainability, innovation, or technology is a plus!
• Ability to work in the Foxboro, MA office for the duration of the internship
