JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with courses in physical sciences preferred. Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute. Experience One month on-the-job training is provided under supervision of an experienced technician. Computer skills required. Physical This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing in normal and soft range. . Operates EKG machine, computer, copier and fax. Frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping. Lifting, Carrying up to 40 lbs., occasional pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.JOB SUMMARY
Technician is responsible for conducting and recording ECG test results with minimal supervision. Most of the time spent performing the same work as others in department.
