This contract opportunity is full-time, offering 35 hours per week with immediate start available and an assignment lasting through June 10, 2027. As an integral part of a multidisciplinary educational team, you’ll work onsite with a small K-12 caseload, primarily serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities (ID). The environment offers low incidental classroom responsibilities, allowing for focused, individualized support.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania required
• Previous experience in school-based settings is a must
• Willingness to obtain all current Pennsylvania clearances
• Comfortable providing services in an urban educational environment
• Experience working with K-12 students, including those with ASD and ID
• Ready to submit licensure documentation as part of the hiring process
• Able to participate in virtual (Zoom) interviews
• Commitment to full-time, onsite work

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to a manageable caseload across K-12 grades
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to tailor interventions
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain compliance with school and state regulations
• Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and multi-disciplinary meetings
