Adolescent Addiction Therapist

Blackbird Health is looking for an Adolescent Addiction Therapist to join our team. This is a hybrid role at our Pittsburgh, PA clinic location. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families. You will provide support to our patients who suffer from video game and other addictions.

This is a contract role. We are looking for therapists with LCSW, LPC and LMFT Licensure.

Experienced clinician with a passion for working with adolescents, young adults and their families using evidence-based practices. Skilled in facilitating both in-person and virtual telehealth sessions with strong technical proficiency (Google Suite, EMR systems, virtual platforms). Excited to make an impact and driven by patient outcomes. Proactive problem-solver with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication and documentation abilities. Dedicated to high-touch, comprehensive care, not just clinical sessions, but true partnership with families and caregivers. Collaborative team player who values clinical consultation, feedback, and professional growth.

Provide individual evidence-based therapy to adolescents, and young adults (ages 10-26), building strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress. Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients. Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support. Collaborate with other specialty providers. Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records. Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate.

Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT and LCSW in Pennsylvania. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescent patients. A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting. Own your own phone, computer, and high speed internet. Commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week during core hours, after 4pm Monday through Friday and 8am-7pm on Weekends. Commit to a hybrid role at our Pittsburgh, PA clinic location.
