Creative Director

Dixxon Flannel Co is seeking a Creative Director to lead the artistic direction of its clothing brand. This role focuses on shaping brand identity and visual storytelling, guiding creative teams, and ensuring product design and related content reflect brand authenticity in close collaboration with the brand founder. Key Responsibilities Define and reinforce the Dixxon creative vision, ensuring consistency across product design and seasonal product lines. Lead and manage graphic designers, building a collaborative environment that supports innovation. Oversee development of product lines through graphic design software, supporting strong visual output. Manage creative projects from concept through execution, maintaining timelines and budgets while coordinating with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product development. Provide art direction and guidance for photoshoots and video content to ensure quality output aligned with products and brand standards. Advance branding initiatives by working with Marketing on visual storytelling, including applying color theory and building cohesive graphic design strategies. Stay current with industry trends across fashion design and digital media, including motion graphics, web design, and print production to elevate the brand's creative edge. Requirements Demonstrated art direction skill for fashion brands, with a strong understanding of layout design and the product development and production process. Proven leadership capabilities managing art or design teams, including experience with large-scale projects and seasonal lineups. Extensive design experience supported by a portfolio showing expertise in design for a clothing brand. Proficiency with graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop , Adobe Illustrator , and InDesign ; familiarity with Sketch , Figma , and InVision for layout design and prototyping. Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate with marketing, product managers, photographers, videographers, leadership, customers, and external vendors. Passion for innovation in visual design within fashion or lifestyle brands, with a professional background in art or digital media. Tools and Technologies Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator InDesign Sketch Figma InVision Compensation and Schedule Location: Tempe, AZ (onsite) Salary: USD 95,000 - 125,000 per yearly Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday in the Tempe office, with additional hours as needed for deadlines and peak season.
