What You Bring to the Team 5–10+ years of leadership experience with proven results. Experience managing a store or large department – retail preferred but not required. Promotions from assistant or co‑manager roles are a big plus. Comfort leading in fast‑paced, high‑volume, or high‑complexity environments. Minimum Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to multi‑task and creatively think. Maintains composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Operate computer, printer, and cash register. Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on sales floor. Identify email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs. Communicate with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face in store. Move across sales floor directing associates and assisting customers, and to/from stockroom. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs and move merchandise up to 5‑10 ft. Operate ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices.
