Roles & Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

· Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis for monthly close

· Manage the close of multiple companies

· Research and correct reconciling items identified

· Focus on continuous improvement and refinement of current operating procedures

· Ensure compliance with GAAP

· Comply with appropriate policies and procedures

· Liaise with other departments

· Provide audit support as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Workday an added plus

Prior experience working with energy and/or solar companies an added plus

Minimum Qualifications

Required Skills:

· Working knowledge of GAAP

· Experience with the month end close process

· Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel

· Superb written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to prioritize effectively while successfully managing multiple tasks

Required Background:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 years of relevant experience, or;

· Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $26.77 - $32.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
