Accounts Receivable Accountant

Beacon Hill is working with a growing company in Hammonton, NJ that is looking to bring on an AR Accountant to support their accounting team. This is a hybrid, contract‑to‑hire opportunity and an ideal role for someone early in their accounting career looking for long‑term growth. Responsibilities: Prepare and issue customer invoices Apply cash payments and reconcile AR activity Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past‑due balances Assist with collections efforts and customer account inquiries Research and resolve billing discrepancies Support month‑end close related to AR Maintain accurate customer and payment records Qualifications: 1+ year of accounts receivable experience or internship‑level accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Comfortable working in Excel and accounting systems Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills Ability to work in a hybrid environment California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
