Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights) | Onsite | Weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation of patient responses to actual or potential health problems
• Perform dependent, interdependent, and independent nursing functions within the continuum of care
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and Omnicell for automated medication dispensing
• Provide coverage across Emergency Room and Med/Surg departments as needed, including potential on-call and weekend rotation
• Badge in and out at the facility per required protocol; wear Navy Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN License
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• TNCC or CALS for Emergency Department practice
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and float to other units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in Med/Surg and/or Emergency Room settings
