We're partnering with a well-established financial institution seeking either a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its collaborative accounting team. What You'll Be Doing

This is a well-rounded accounting position offering exposure to nearly every aspect of the accounting function, including:

• Prepare month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial reporting accuracy
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Maintain fixed assets and prepaid expenses in accordance with GAAP
• Process investment transactions, rollovers, and maturities
• Assist with monthly financial reporting
• Prepare budget reports and assist with the annual budgeting process
• Support external audits and regulatory reporting
• Assist with wire processing and provide backup support for Accounts Payable and daily accounting operations
• Participate in process improvements and special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience or public accounting experience from a local or regional CPA firm
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, hands-on environment where responsibilities can vary
• Banking, Credit Union, or Financial Services experience is a plus!
