Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with expertise in Linux, command-line scripting, integration, and relational databases to support critical software applications. The successful candidate will focus on troubleshooting, automation, and process enhancement, contributing to the enterprise. Job Responsibilities Provide technical support for the full software lifecycle, including production support and upgrades for software applications. Troubleshoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams to test internal and external software updates. Implement automation solutions to improve processes, boost productivity, and reduce costs. Develop and maintain documentation on support tasks, procedures, and system configurations. Maintain technical proficiency and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Work closely with internal customers to integrate their needs and foster innovation through automation. Skills & Experience Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). Expertise in integrating, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade software and APIs. Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase) and SQL scripting. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps) and SDLC methodologies. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a nice to have, but relevant experience will suffice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
