Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for: portioning of beverages to be used during meal service, Putting place-mats and napkins on trays, loading carts with dishes and special utensils needed for the floors meal service.
• Responsible when assigned for setting up trays and loading them on carts for delivery to residents. Places beverages on trays according to request or dietary needs and delivers trays according to procedure to residents during meal service.
• Responsible for scraping and washing dishes and returning them to the proper storage areas

• Keep dish room, storage areas, and all carts clean.
• Helps maintain store room in orderly condition.
• Performs other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Performs duties of Cook’s Helper when necessary.
• Attend Nursing Home Meetings and workshops when requested.
• Participates in Fire Drills.
• Evening shift aides also responsible for delivery of nourishments to Nurses’ Stations on each floor. Portioning of some Breakfast beverages and breakfast juices.
• Adequate performance of duties assigned. Sanitary handling of food and dishes. Cleanliness of the working area. Provides specified uniform and maintains good personal hygiene.
