About The Position This is not a position where you simply post job advertisements and wait for resumes. We want a recruiter who knows how to find great people, start conversations, build relationships, and turn qualified candidates into successful hires. You will work directly with agency leadership to develop and execute recruiting strategies that support our continued growth. Your primary focus will be recruiting talented insurance sales professionals, individuals with strong sales backgrounds, and customer service representatives who can deliver the level of service our clients expect. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, competitive, and motivated by measurable results. Key Responsibilities Actively recruit Sales Professionals and CSRs to support the agency's continued growth Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Workable, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach Identify experienced insurance agents, licensed professionals, and individuals with transferable sales experience Develop a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs Conduct initial phone screenings and evaluate candidates based on experience, communication skills, professionalism, and cultural fit Coordinate interviews with agency leadership and department managers Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process Build relationships with passive candidates who may not currently be looking for a new opportunity Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract high-performing sales professionals Maintain accurate recruiting records and candidate activity within Workable Track recruiting performance, including outreach activity, interviews, offers, and successful hires Work closely with leadership to understand staffing needs and anticipate future hiring demands Assist with offer coordination and the transition of new employees into the onboarding process Preferred Qualifications Recruiting experience within insurance, financial services, or professional sales organizations Experience recruiting licensed insurance agents Familiarity with Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other candidate sourcing platforms Experience developing employee referral programs and recruiting campaigns Proven success filling multiple positions in a growing organization Requirements What We're Looking For Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or a related field Demonstrated ability to proactively source and recruit candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications Experience recruiting sales professionals, customer service representatives, or other performance-driven positions Strong communication, relationship-building, and interviewing skills Ability to recognize sales potential, professionalism, and strong customer service skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open positions and candidate pipelines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms A strong sense of urgency and accountability for recruiting results What Success Looks Like Consistently develop a strong pipeline of qualified sales and customer service candidates Generate interviews through proactive recruiting and direct outreach Reduce the time required to fill open positions Identify high-quality candidates who align with our agency's expectations and culture Maintain an organized, measurable, and repeatable recruiting process Help build a team of professionals who contribute to the long-term success of the agency We measure success by the quality of the people you bring into our organization - not simply the number of resumes collected.
