ENT Consultant (Permanent)

Overview Competitive salary/package, dependent on experience Role: ENT Consultant Location: Peterborough and Cambridge Full‑time or part‑time roles available Self‑employed contracts also available Principal locations: Woodlands Surgery, Eden House, 48-49 Bateman St, Cambridge CB2 1LR; Peterborough City Care Centre, Thorpe Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE3 6DB Responsibilities Provide safe, high‑quality outpatient ENT services in line with clinical best practice and governance standards Work collaboratively with the ENT Lead and report to the Service Manager (Operations) to manage all aspects of the ENT service in line with agreed objectives Contribute to the development and optimisation of patient pathways, improving access, outcomes, and patient experience Support service efficiency by driving best practice in performance management and financial sustainability Identify opportunities to reduce costs, implement innovative ways of working, and improve service delivery Lead, motivate, and support the multidisciplinary team to achieve maximum efficiency and high standards of care Requirements Full GMC registration with a licence to practise Extensive experience in ENT outpatient care, including management of paediatric ENT patients Ability to manage all routine ENT conditions independently within a community clinic setting Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining high clinical and professional standards Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement Experience of service development, pathway optimisation, and improving operational efficiency Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and service management Commitment to cost‑effective care, innovation, and continuous service improvement Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) Benefits Excellent work/life balance Modern open office space with complimentary fresh fruit and nuts 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Birthday day off Healthcare Cash Plan Life Insurance Charitable Giving Scheme NHS Discount & Support Schemes Employee Assistance Program #J-18808-Ljbffr Omnes Healthcare
