Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerHarvey, Illinois, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-11-02T00:00:00.000Z$3,240.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week day shift assignment with rotating call responsibilities, requiring an IL RN license and Epic experience.DetailsWork in the Cath Lab, including Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab settingsDay shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMCall required 2-3 days per week with rotating weekend callUses Epic charting systemRequirementsActive IL RN license in handBLS certification required; ACLS and ARRT-R preferredMinimum 2 years of experience requiredExperience with 3D imaging, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and computed tomographySkilled in EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile techniqueExperience with procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PPI, IABP placement/removal, and pacemaker insertionExperience with electrophysiology procedures including cardiac mapping, ablation, cardioversion, and AICD insertion/programmingExperience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)Current Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)Additional InformationResponsibilities include room circulating, scrubbing and maintaining sterile fields, equipment set up, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmiasMaintains equipment, manages inventory, stocks supplies, and utilizes PACSRTO limited to no more than 3 days, with no RTO requests during the first or last week of the contractLocal candidates accepted at the same bill rateFormer staff of this health system must have a 7-month break in service before returning as a travelerHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 8
