American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week Cardiology assignment requiring IL RN licensure and at least one year of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience. Requirements Active IL RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained At least one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting required BSN preferred Responsibilities Full-time Cath Lab RN role in the Cardiology department, Cardiac Cath Lab Cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures Day shift schedule, 0800-1630 On-call rotation required, approximately every 2nd-3rd weekend and 1-3 times per week Deliver comprehensive patient care addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs throughout cardiovascular procedures Collaborate with physicians and provide continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring equipment is functioning and properly calibrated Manage case-specific supplies and inventory to support efficient Cath Lab workflow Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Maintain thorough documentation of patient condition throughout Cardiovascular Lab visits Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
