Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy that emphasizes language, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
• Work in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care planning.
• Provide invaluable education to patients and their families, fostering enhancements in progress beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapeutic evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless care through the continuum.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advances in speech-language pathology.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Hold a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire.
