Role Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using both standardized tools and observational methods.
- Craft tailored treatment plans that target both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Engage in collaborative care with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated treatment strategies.
- Provide valuable education to patients and their families to foster progress during and beyond therapy sessions.
- Occasionally facilitate inpatient evaluations and treatments to ensure seamless continuity of care throughout patients' recovery journeys.
- Maintain precise, timely documentation in accordance with all regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and teamwork.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet achieved ASHA certification.
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Strong mastery of evidence-based practices for all age groups, with comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired language and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adeptness in modifying therapy methods to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

- Fluency in electronic medical records and documentation standards.
