This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to use your expertise as a Special Education Teacher in a collaborative and dedicated environment, with two dynamic positions available for grades 1-3 and 4-6 within a self-contained classroom. Starting as soon as possible and lasting through the end of the academic year, you'll work alongside other professionals to help students reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• California CTC credential with Moderate to Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) authorization (active and in good standing)
• Experience or a strong interest in supporting elementary-aged students with autism
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and individualized learning

What You'll Do:

• Lead instruction for a self-contained classroom, adapting curriculum to meet individual needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to each student
• Utilize positive behavior supports and data-driven strategies
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, and administrators to enhance program success
• Engage with families, providing progress updates and support resources
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all district and state special education requirements
