Program Specialist- Research Coordinator

This position is located within the Cooperative Studies Program of the Office of Research and Development at the Albany VA Medical Center. The position supports The Million Veteran Program (MVP). Qualification Requirements Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-7, in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience include enrolling research participants; developing statistical reports for use by management for planning purposes; developing new or modifying work methods and processes to meet program and accreditation standards; and utilizing a variety of automated programs and databases to prepare a variety of reports and maintain research study records. This experience must be demonstrated on your resume to receive credit. Graduate Education : A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Education must be related to the position and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED). Combination of Graduate Education and Specialized Experience : An equivalent combination of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level as described above and graduate level education as described can be used to qualify for this position.
