Benefits may vary with employment status.Job ObjectiveTo provide for the best possible handling of the guest's needs by serving them in an efficient, professional and hospitable mannerTo provide that service by working in cooperation with the kitchen, roadies, hosts and all other employeesTo work with management to ensure the success of each eventTo work within the Hard Rock Café Mission and ValuesResponsibilitiesRead and follow the BEOSet up of private events based upon the instructions of the Banquet Manager/CaptainFollow all banquet standards in maintaining our high level of guest serviceBreakdown of all areas and proper storage of all banquet equipmentUnderstand and follow through with all policies and procedures of the Banquet Department and the Hard Rock OrganizationWork as a team with all other servers and staffBe at your very best at all times and create an experience for our guests that is memorable and beyond their expectationsAny other and all duties assigned by the Banquet Manager/CaptainJob Requirements Include:Must be at least 19 years oldPerforming duties which require bending & reachingAble to lift up to 25-poundsStanding or walking on the floor for up to 8+ hoursMaintaining a well-groomed appearance ("having a plan")Following all uniform guidelinesPracticing all safety & sanitation standardsRecycling products, where possibleRemaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphereDemonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgencyDisplaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers – never allowing personal life or outside influences to dictate attitudeMaintaining HRC's 5 core Values and Mission StatementQualificationsPrior experience as a banquet server and/or bartenderVersed in banquet table serviceAvailable to work a wide variety of shifts and schedules
