Associate Attorney

A full-service law firm with extensive litigation expertise is seeking an associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its growing team. The firm handles a broad range of matters, including ERISA, disability, life, health, long-term care, fraud, and employer-sponsored benefit disputes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
• A strong work ethic with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Admission to the State Bar of California

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
• Collaborating with in-house clients, experts, third-party administrators, opposing counsel, and witnesses
• Reviewing, investigating, and evaluating the factual and legal aspects of claims
• Taking and defending depositions
• Assisting with trial and arbitration preparation, including motions in limine, jury instructions, trial briefs, exhibits, and witness preparation

Compensation for this role ranges from $158,000 to $190,000, plus annual performance-based bonuses. Final salary will depend on the candidate's experience and years of practice.
