Physician - OB/GYN

Rural Health Group, Inc, a thriving FQHC located in scenic northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a BC (BE if newer graduate) OB/GYN to provide excellent quality women’s health care at our RHG Family and Women’s Health location in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Position includes outpatient clinic, surgery, and hospital call. Responsibilities Provide outpatient clinic care at 1381 Medical Center Drive, adjacent to ECU Health North Hospital. Perform one day per week of surgery and administer the remaining clinic hours. See approximately 20 patients per day in the outpatient clinic. Manage OB and GYN patient mix, with an average of 25–30 deliveries per month. Schedule and perform GYN procedures ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, based on referrals. Maintain a call schedule of 1:2 weekdays (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mon – Fri) and 1:4 weekends (5 p.m. – 8 a.m. Fri – Mon), with an aim to extend to 1:3 weekdays. Coordinate with office staff, including RNs, LPNs, a case manager, sonographer, and billing personnel. Obtain and renew privileges at ECU Health North Hospital and maintain hospital call responsibilities. Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR; experience with EPIC is a plus. Qualifications OB/GYN board certification (Board-eligible for residents). BLS and NRP certification, required for hospital privileges. Experience managing EMR systems (eCW and EPIC). Benefits & Compensation Minimum base salary of $400,000, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Annual COLA of 2% plus a 1% bonus. Call stipend of $50,000 per year. Signing bonus ranging from $40,000 to $60,000; up to $2,500 per month may be taken early as a residency stipend. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 in‑state and $10,000 out‑of‑state. Full‑time employees eligible for comprehensive group insurance plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; RHG pays a significant portion of employee premiums.
