Join us and help shape the future of construction.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects in the Sperry/Tulsa market. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a leadership role ideal for a design/build PM who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning both field and office execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial construction projects simultaneouslyServe as primary client and stakeholder contactOversee project budgets, schedules, and financial performanceDirect and support project superintendents and field teamsManage subcontractor performance and project executionLead preconstruction efforts including budgeting, scope review, and schedulingEnsure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company requirementsCoordinate with architects, engineers, and internal teamsApprove pay applications, change orders, and project documentationDrive schedule adherence and resolve project issues proactivelySupport delivery of mission critical and other highly technical facility projects, adhering to stringent quality, security, and uptime requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience in lieu of degree)5+ years of commercial construction project management experience3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or field operationsStrong design/build or general contracting experience requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)Procore experience strongly preferredStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel as required within assigned projectsIdeal Candidate ProfileStrong scheduling skills (able to build CPM schedules / Gantt charts)Project financial management (budgeting, cost control, tracking)Prior GC/construction experienceExperience with Procore, with the ability to quickly adapt and operate within project-specific workflows and requirementsSupervisory/management experience (leading crews, managing subcontractors)Construction knowledge (site experience, means & methods)A strong leader who takes ownership of complex projectsSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environmentA problem solver who can manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyA communicator who can lead teams, clients, and subcontractors effectivelyWe're looking for someone who requires minimal training and can step in to immediately run projects with confidence.Why McFarland ConstructionAt McFarland, you are not just managing projects, you are leading them with real ownership, visibility, and impact.
