Assembly Tech Position Looking for a career with room to grow and great benefits? Assembly Techs are needed for a busy client on the Northside of Jacksonville. Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am-3:30pm (with mandatory overtime) Pay: $21.72/hr Job Duties of the Assembly Tech: Ability to be cross trained in multiple positions within the production department. Work quickly to meet production goals. Be able to read a tape measure to 1/16" Read and follow instructions in English. Be flexible to changes in organizational and departmental procedures Load machines, lifting up to 50 pounds Skills and Qualifications of the Assembly Tech: Must have at least 3 year of Manufacturing experience. Must speak and understand English. Spanish knowledge is a plus. Must be able to read a tape measure. Must have a strong knowledge of math and fractions. Must be a team player. Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills. Must have reliable transportation. This is a drug-free workplace. All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.
